Sudbury Downs has announced the inaugural running of the Pot O Gold $4,500 Claiming Series
. The event will be conducted in two legs, the first of which is scheduled for Saturday, May 29. The second goes the following Saturday, June 5. Each leg of the series will be contested for a purse of $4,500 per division. The final slated for Saturday, June 12 will be contested for a purse of $20,000 (added) and is estimated to reach a total purse of $25,000.
