Lima, Ohio's Cool Winds Farm is proud to announce that the stud book for world champion and three-time Ohio Older Pacer of the Year Dancin Yankee (p,1:47.2f [$2,003,907]) is full and closed for the 2020 breeding season.

Extremely pleased with the interest shown in the horse’s inaugural season, co-owner Mark Weaver stated, "It is a great feeling to see Dancin Yankee receive the response he did in Ohio. To be able to assemble 140 mares is also a testament to the superb job Randy and Kim Haines have done. Cool Winds Farm has been fantastic! Thank you to everyone who supported him!”

Stallion manager and farm owner Randy Haines was also delighted over the horse’s accomplishments, noting, “Buckeye State breeders really embraced Dancin Yankee. He was as consistent and strong in the breeding shed as he was on the racetrack. We bred several of our own mares to him, and look forward to raising and selling his foals in 2022.”

“We would also like to thank the breeders for choosing Dancing Yankee. During this difficult time, we are grateful for everyone that continued to support harness racing, as well as Standardbred breeding farms,” Haines said.
