Three Qualifying Sessions Announced

Trot Insider has learned that the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission has approved a trio of qualifying sessions, two of which took place on Tuesday (May 7).

The Tuesday sessions took place at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park (first post 12:30 p.m.) and Summerside Raceway (first post 6:00 p.m.).

The third of the qualifying sessions will take place at Summerside on Monday, May 13. First post will be at 6:00 p.m.

A Standardbred Canada field rep will be on hand at the qualifiers in order to take care of any SC business that horsepeople need to address.

SC would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.

Membership renewals and eligibility fees are two of many services that can be purchased online. To pay online, register with the SC website and sign into eShop by clicking the 'eShop' button at the top of the homepage.
