The Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) and TrotPAC are hosting a fundraiser for Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin at Fair Winds Farm on Monday, May 19 at 1:30 p.m.
The fundraiser lunch will allow attendees to meet Assembly Speaker Coughlin, vital to the five-year $100 million USD state appropriation approval, and express their views on the 50 per cent budget cut to the state appropriation proposed by Governor Murphy in the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget.
"The SBOANJ urges anyone with an interest in New Jersey racing to attend and support the Speaker," a press release on the event from the SBOANJ stated. "Your attendance and financial contribution are of the utmost importance to the success of our industry and future appropriations."
