Although there will only be a pair of starters behind the gate, North America's first two-year-old qualifying race of the 2020 season is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 6.

The two-year-olds -- one trotter and one pacer -- will be competing in the first of nine qualifying races that are scheduled to take place over the five-eighths-mile oval at Olympia of Palm Beach Training Center. The action is scheduled to get underway at 11:00 a.m. No fans are allowed to attend the races due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two-year-olds in question, both of whom are fillies, are trained by Sergio Corona. The fillies are homebreds that are owned by Amante Standardbreds Inc. of Delray Beach.

Ciao Bella is scheduled to start from Post 1. The youngster is by Odino Jet and is out of the Victorys Force mare Reverie Devictoire, who was a $134,000 career winner. Ciao Bella, who is Reverie Devictoire's first foal, will be driven by Sergio Corona.

Princess Royal is scheduled to start from Post 2. Princess Royal is by Royel Millennium and is out of the Real Artist mare Check This. Princess Royal will be driven by Ken Holliday.
