Horsepeople should be aware that Friday, June 24 is the deadline to submit applications for the Harold Snyder Memorial Scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year.
The annual program offers $15,000 in scholarships for post-secondary education to daughters and sons of licensed trainers, drivers, caretakers, management personnel, or young people themselves who are actively engaged in the harness racing industry. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 are customarily awarded to three to six individuals annually.
