Heart & Stroke Golf For Heart Tournament

The 4th Annual Chase McEachern Memorial Golf for Heart Tournament, which helps to raise funds for lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), is set for Wednesday, June 23

at The Barrie Country Club.

Breakfast and registration will take place at 7:30 a.m. with a shot gun start at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $200 per player (includes a $50 tax receipt, breakfast and lunch).

To date the Chase McEachern Tribute Fund and Heart and Stroke has allocated 2,795 AED units to be installed by the end of 2010. As of August 31, 2009, 1,898 AEDs have been deployed across Ontario. There has been 22 lives saved to date with the AED program.
