Meadowlands Racetrack has announced that it will introduce a new series for three-year-old trotters on Fridays in
June.
The series is for non-winners of two pari-mutuel races or $25,000 lifetime up to and including June 5, 2011. A pair of $15,000 preliminary legs will be raced June 10 and 17, culminating in a $40,000 final on Friday, June 24.
There is no entry fee for the series. The box will close the Monday prior to the Friday race at 9:00 a.m.

Nominations Close Thursday For Summer Survivor Series
Nominations are due Thursday, May 19 for the Summer Survivor Series, Meadowlands Racetrack's newest event for three-year-old pacers.
The Summer Survivor Series, which begins June 2, is for non-winners of two pari-mutuel races or $25,000 lifetime as of May 1, 2011. Winners over $75,000 lifetime are ineligible. The series consists of two $12,500 preliminary brackets and a $15,000 semi-final round that will decide the field for an estimated $100,000 final on July 2.

Schedules Set For Schooling, Baby Races
Schooling will be held for two-year-olds Monday, May 23 through Wednesday, May 25 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Saturday baby races will begin May 28, with the entry box closing 4:00 p.m. Thursdays. Two-year-olds must have electronic eligibility papers to enter baby races.
