The Standardbred Retirement Foundation will host its 22nd annual golf outing on Tuesday, June 3 at the beautiful and private Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, New Jersey.
This year's presenting sponsor once again is Valley High Stable. The highlight is the SRF Million Dollar Shot, which is still up for grabs.
Greens fees, cart, lunch, hors d'oeuvre and cocktail hour, dinner, charity auction, trivia, and all the fun is only $215 per player if paid before May 27, with an increase after that date. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. The SRF welcomes non-golfers to join for cocktails, dinner, and the evening events at $49 per person.
This sell-out event for 22 years seeks tax-deductible sponsorships, and gifts for the very popular auction, which will open on Monday, May 19. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Donations of other items for the auction, and raffle such as tickets to sporting events, travel tickets/packages, dinners, memorabilia and other popular items are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible as well. Sponsors and donors of gifts will see their names on the SRF’s golf-bidding webpage (adoptahorse.org) starting May 19.
Auction items include a Pennsbury Jog Cart; tickets for the Jets vs. Miami at the 50 Yd. line just a couple yards away from the Jets' bench, and the elite Coach's Club with gourmet food; Hyperbaric treatments; a full equine body scan; gift certificates from well known veterinarians; boarding at training facilities; layups at farms and rehabilitative centers; gift cards; artwork and many other exciting items.
All proceeds benefit SRF, celebrating 25 years of helping horses, and kids.
