One of Western Canada's top pacers fetched the highest price at Sunday's 2011 Spring Fling Mixed Sale at Flamboro Downs

Theseyesrcrying, a winner of two stakes events at Fraser Downs earlier this year, was purchased for $47,000 by Percy Elkins of Campbellville, Ont. Preferred Equine consigned the three-year-old ridgling for former trainer Serge Masse and James Vinnell.
An unseasonably chilly day did not deter horsemen from the SC Sale Pavilion, paying a total of $658,800 for 99 horses, resulting in an average of $6,654.
