The Hambletonian Society has shared information for harness racing participants regarding races it administers with stakes payments due by Friday, May 15.
The stakes payment forms are available on the Hambletonian Society's website at hambletonian.com or can be obtained by calling the Society's office and having them faxed or e-mailed. All the forms on the website are PDF fillable. Participants can type right on the form, print as many as needed and return the form with payments.
Along with cheques, the Hambletonian Society is accepting credit cards as a form of payment for any stakes payments. All credit card payments are subject to a three per cent service fee, which will be added to the payment total.
In May, sustaining payments are due for a majority of the two-year-old stakes that are serviced by the Hambletonian Society.
Yearling payments are also due this May for all foals of 2025.
Below are the races which have a payment due this May (broken down by division):
- Yearling Pacers: Adios, Arden Downs, Breeders Crown #41, Cane Pace, Fox Stake, Horseman, Hoosier Stakes, Messenger Stakes, Progress Pace.
- Yearling Trotters: Arden Downs, Breeders Crown #41, Currier & Ives, Dexter Cup, Hambletonian, Hoosier Stakes, Horseman, Ralph Wilfong and Yonkers Trot.
- Two-Year-Olds: Breeders Crown #40, The Elevation, Fox Stakes #100, Hoosier Stake #90, Jim Doherty Memorial, Kentuckiana Stallion Management Pace/Trot, Keystone Classic, Landmark, Liberty Bell, Madison County 2CT, Matron Series, PA All-Stars, Peter Haughton Memorial, Reynolds Memorial, Simpson Sr. Memorial, Tompkins-Geers, and Ralph Wilfong #89.
As a reminder, there is a stallion restriction for the Breeders Crown yearling payments that are due on May 15. For the Breeders Crown, a list of the stallions whose foals are Breeders Crown eligible for foals of 2025 (Breeders Crown #41) is available by clicking here.

The conditions for each race can be found on Hambletonian Society's website on the specific race page set up for that race. In all cases, only one cheque is ever necessary for each of the four payment periods (i.e. February 15, March 15, April 15 or May 15).
