Horse Racing New Brunswick and the Fredericton Horsemen's Association wish to remind maritime horsepeople and racing fans that Fredericton Raceway's opening day will be Thursday, May 19
.
The card will kick off with a 7:00 p.m. first-race post time. The entry box for the card will close on Monday, May 16.
The track will host a qualifying session on Sunday, May 15.
There is also a Victoria Day card scheduled for Monday, May 23 with a 1:00 p.m. first-race post time.
Having hosted its first harness race in 1877, Fredericton Raceway is Canada's oldest racetrack.
