Trot Insider has obtained the visitation and funeral arrangements for Leroy McKahan. The 58-year-old resident of Jackson, New Jersey passed away Saturday, May 9 in the paddock at Freehold Raceway
.
The native of Washington, Pennsylvania worked in the industry for over 35 years as a groom at Freehold Raceway and with Nancy Patton Stables.
Leroy is predeceased by parents Clarence McKahan and Betty Wadsworth and brother Robert. He is survived by his two sisters, Judy McKahan and Mary Lapointe, and many others members of his extended family.
Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, May 13 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, Debow Chapel, 150 West Veteran's Highway, Jackson, New Jersey.
Committal will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, 108 F Old York Road, Hamilton, New Jersey, 08620.
