Truro Raceway has announced its first annual NHL Playoffs Hockey Pool. There will be prizes for the top three finishers, with the Grand Prize going to the winner of an RCA 65” 4K UHD TV and a $500 gift card of the winner's choice (courtesy of MacKay Stable).
Entries are $10 each, three for $25, six for $50 or nine for $75. Each Monday the pool will be updated throughout the play-offs on Truro Raceway’s website.
There are several ways to enter: you can fill of the form online and submit the form and E-transfer the funds; or you can also download a form off the website and mail it in or hand it in to a Truro Raceway representative. There will also be hard copies of the form available at Truro Raceway’s offices.
The deadline to enter is Monday, April 17 by 6 p.m. online or handed into the racetrack or by mail postmarked by Friday, April 14 at midnight.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing new TVs for the grandstand.
“We’re excited to introduce this play-off pool," said Steve Fitzsimmons, Truro Raceway's General Manager. "They are always lots of fun and in this case, it will raise some much needed funds to pay for TVs that need replacing in our grandstand. We welcome people from all over Canada to enter and have fun with us and for a good cause."
