Olympia of Palm Beach Training Center, formerly known as the South Florida Trotting Center, will hold both two-year-old and qualifying races on Wednesday, April 8.
Two-year-old races will be restricted to a time of 2:25 for both trotters and pacers. Two-year-olds can also practice behind the starting gate.
“We will continue to use best practices during these events,” said Sam Stathis, owner of Olympia of Palm Beach Training Center. “I think the two-year-old races will be great. These youngsters are ready to experience racing against each other and getting to go behind the starting gate.”
Entries for the two-year-old and qualifying races at Olympia of Palm Beach must be called in to Kathy Breedlove by 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 7 at 954-654-0129.
There will be only three horses per race and if possible, horses will be split into divisions by gait. The two-year-old races and qualifying races will begin Wednesday, April 8 at 11:00 am.
