If you are a trainer or a driver that is programmed to race on the Meadowlands Racetrack’s live card this Saturday (May 2), the track wants you to know that there are some special privileges coming your way.
The track has announced that trainers and drivers that will be competing on the Derby night card at the Meadowlands are invited to watch the boxing match in Trotters after live racing is complete with no charge for admission.
Please contact Marianne Rotella at 201-842-5059 to make arrangements for that and also to reserve a spot at the special Derby Day buffet which will begin at 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
This is a reminder that qualifying races will take place this week on Friday morning, beginning at 9:30 a.m. They will revert back to Saturday next week.
This Saturday's live racing starts at 5:30 p.m. The paddock and lasix schedule for the early post time is available on the Meadowlands website.
