Celebrating Cinco De Mayo, Northfield Park will offer the 20-cent Super High 5 as a new wagering opportunity at the Ohio racetrack.
A perfect winning ticket requires a bettor to select the first five finishers in order in Northfield’s 13th race. The wager offers an attractive reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and potential large carryovers of 75 percent of the pool when the correct sequence is not selected.
To celebrate the holiday and promote the implementation of the Super High 5, Northfield Park Players Club members will receive a combination package of five free Super High 5 wagers and a free live program from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Cinco De Mayo will also be celebrated with concession specials. Two tacos with tortilla chips and salsa may be purchased throughout the evening for only $3. Coronas (16 oz bottles) are being offered until 9 p.m. for just $3.
