The Quebec Jockey Club has reported that opening day for the 2026 harness racing season at Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivières, Que. has been pushed back a week from Sunday, May 3 to Sunday, May 10.
In addition, post time on Sundays has been changed to 12 p.m., instead of the originally scheduled post time of 11 a.m.
A reason for the schedule changes was not provided.
The 2026 season will run through Nov. 1, with live racing on Sundays at 12 p.m. (except for Aug. 9) as well as Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. during the months of June through September. A special Monday program will also take place on Oct. 12 with a post time of 1 p.m.
