Author Mark Gorge has released details in regard to a new book on harness racing.

Gorge has stated that he has launched the most comprehensive book on harness racing in past 20 years.

Gorge has said that his book provides an opportunity for the people interested in harness racing to know everything about the sport and the business associated with it. The book, ‘The 21st-century complete guide to harness racing,’ explores harness racing in detail with numerous chapters that explain extensively about every aspect of the business.

Gorge has written this book for the new fans of harness racing and to teach them handicapping techniques that are applicable to modern pari-mutuel wagering situations. The readers can get useful advice about owning racehorses including what to buy and where to buy as well as a guide on choosing the right trainer. The author is inspired to write this book with his own experiences of owning and training horses since 1976. His book also sheds light on guidelines on how to bet on horses. The book is written considering the modern fans and the current scenario of harness racing to provide the readers real world advice that is also inspired by author’s own experiences and success.

The book begins with a basic introductory chapter that describes a brief history of harness racing so that even the beginners can gain all the information about the sport before getting into the business. The second chapter is the glossary which helps the reader to understand all kinds of terms used in the book. The ‘in the beginning’ chapter explains about harness racing from both the owner’s and the bettor’s perspective.

As the reader proceeds with the book, they’ll learn about speculation and how to estimate what’s going to happen in tonight’s race. The other chapters will focus on the process of selecting winners, betting strategies and angles, weather and speed, trainers and drivers, owning a racehorse, first or the second start on Lasix and several other aspects of harness racing. More information about the book can be seen on amazon.com where it is available in Kindle and paperback formats.
