The Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) yearling nomination forms for foals of 2025 (OSS 55) have been mailed to all registered owners of Ontario-sired yearlings. Owners are reminded that yearling nominations are due before Friday, May 15 at 11:59 p.m. EDT and all yearlings paid into the program must be registered at the time of nomination.

Standardbred Canada requires that the DNA and microchipping be completed before the foal is registered.

The OSS yearling nomination payment is the only required payment for yearlings to remain eligible to race in the OSS program as a two-and three-year-old in 2027 and 2028. Yearling nomination forms are available on the OSS website by clicking here

Questions about the OSS program should be directed to OSS Program Coordinator Christina Saftic by calling 416-407-4841 or emailing [email protected].
