ORC Rules On Lock Appeal

Published: April 2, 2013 08:40 pm EDT

The Ontario Racing Commission has released its ruling in regard to an appeal by horseman Eric Lock.

Lock’s appeal was in regard to a fine and suspension due to a June 16, 2012 race in which a horse he trained (Life On The Links) returned a positive test for the Class II drug, Aminorex.

The Panel denied the appeal but varied the penalty.

The Panel’s Reasons for Decision is attached to the ORC Ruling.
