Purses Set For Matchmaker And Levy

Yonkers Raceway has announced the purses for Saturday night’s series finals, with the Blue Chip Matchmaker going for the $309,800 and the George Morton Levy Memorial set at $606,000.

As has been the case annually, these are the sport’s two richest races of the season to date, with this also being the richest-ever edition of the Levy.

Note that the open draws for these races—and their respective consolations ($100,000-Levy, $75,000-Matchmaker)—shall be conducted Tuesday Apr. 19) morning.
