Albert J. Beachy, 86, of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 15 at his residence following a brief illness.
Beachy was born on March 31, 1930 in Holmes County to the late Jacob and Cora (Miller) Beachy. He was a member of the Amish Church. He was married March 22, 1956, to the former Emma Jean Beachy who passed away on February 15, 2014.
Albert is survived by his children, Dean W. (Linda), Wilma (Daniel) Yoder, Dale (deceased Esther) and Diane Sue; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters, Levi, Emma Yoder, Mary (Atlee D.) Miller and Jake (Erma). In addition to his parents, wife, Emma Jean and son, Dale, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roman, Noah and his twin, Alvin; and his sisters, Lizzie Ann and Verna.
Services will be held on Monday (April 18) at 9 a.m. at the Jerry D. Miller Residence, 5950 TR 409, Millersburg, with Bishop Ray Mast officiating. Burial will be in the Beachy Family Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call on Saturday (April 16) after 2 p.m. and Sunday (April 17) after 12 p.m. at the Jerry D. Miller Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
