The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association has announced that the 2016 'Name That Foal' contest is now officially open.
The contest is sponsored by Meridian Farms with promotional assistance of the ASHA. There are contest categories for Best Name, Best Letter and Best Drawing, with age groups separating entrants as Ages 8 & Under and Ages 9 to 16.
Born Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the foal is a beautiful bay filly by Riverboat King out of Mrs Red Pop. Her name will be chosen from one of the above age groups.

1st Prize – Apple iPod Touch plus $50 iTunes Card

2nd Prize – Apple iPod Nano plus $25 iTunes Card

3rd Prize – Apple iPod Shuffle plus $25 iTunes Card

All submissions must be received in the ASHA office by May 15, 2016. The winners will be announced Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in the Winners Circle.
