The Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission would like to remind owners of two-year-old non-resident Pennsylvania-sired Standardbreds that they will not receive breeders awards for the 2014 racing season.
The non-resident two-year-old disbursements were sunset provisions in the rules of Pennsylvania’s Breeders Fund and ended last racing season. In the 2014 racing season only foals of Pennsylvania-sired and bred resident mares will generate breeders awards.
All future awards will require mare residency.
