Eleanor Davidson Passes

Longtime harness racing fan and owner Eleanor Davidson of Listowel, Ont. passed away on Sunday, April 11

, 2010 at the age of 86.

Eleanor Jeanette Davidson (nee Fallis) of RR 3, Listowel, is the beloved wife of the late James M. Davidson (1994). Dear mother of Nancy Mae and her husband Jon Carter of Deep River; loving grandmother of Morgan Davidson Carter Jackson (Scott) of Kirkland, Washington; dear sister of Marion Dechert of Listowel and Anne Garratt of Deep River. Predeceased by one brother William Fallis.

There will be no funeral home visitation, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held from Calvary United Church, Listowel, on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society (36 Main St. S., PO Box 297, Campbellville, Ontario, L0P 1B0) in memory of Eleanor's love of horses. One of her cherished possessions was a pottery necklace made from the mane hair of her favourite horse, Admirals Express.
