Olympia of Palm Beach will hold both two-year-old and qualifying races on Wednesday (April 15).
The two-year-old races will be restricted to a time of 2:25 for both trotters and pacers. Two-year-olds can also practice behind the starting gate.
“We will continue to use best practices during these events,” Said Sam Stathis, owner of Olympia of Palm Beach, which was formerly known as the South Florida Trotting Center. “The qualifiers the last two weeks have gone great, and I hope this week we will have our first session for two-year-olds.”
Entries for the two-year-old and qualifying races at Olympia of Palm Beach must be called in to Kathy Breedlove by 1 p.m. on Tuesday (April 14) at 954-654-0129. There will be only three horses per race, and horses will be split into divisions by gait if possible. The two-year-old races and qualifying races will begin Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Anyone planning on shipping their horses in for the qualifiers must call Ann-Mari Daley at 315-225-4992 as special arrangements have been made.
