Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack has named Joe Auger its race secretary for the upcoming 2011 meet, while Mike Harant will serve as assistant race secretary
.
Auger takes charge of the Chester race office after assisting Rick Kane for the first five seasons of racing at Hararh's Chester. Harant, who has held duties from judges' assistant to clerk of course in his five seasons at the greater-Philadelphia raceway, moves into the assistant role.
Entry, Medication Reminders
Once again, horsemen are advised that the entry box for qualifiers on Friday, March 11 closes at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10. The race office will be open Friday and Saturday mornings to accept entries for the opening night (March 18) program. Entries close on Saturday (March 12) morning at 9 a.m. The race office is also accepting medication documents via fax at 484-490-2230.
