It has been announced that there will be a $35,000 guaranteed pool for one of Pompano Park's exotic wagers during the track’s Thursday (March 7) program of live racing.
There were two horses covered heading into the final leg of Wednesday’s Pick 5 at Pompano, but oddly enough no one had the even-money favorite Thundercrest ($4.20), who triggered a $7,388 carryover with his victory. Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have placed an ‘instant guarantee’ of $35,000 on the total pool for the Thursday wager.

Fans will also enjoy a single night carryover of $1,256 in the 50-cent Pick 6 beginning in Race 3, and a $15,000 guaranteed Pick 4 that will begin in Race 5.
Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park five nights per week, with a first post of 7:20 p.m. every Sunday through Thursday.
