The Prince County Horseman's Club annual awards banquet will take place on Saturday April 17 at Red Shores
at Summerside Raceway.
A reception has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the BuffetFiveElevenWest restaurant overlooking the racetrack.
The evening will highlight the 2009 race season with 25 presentations, including eight trophies in the two and three-year-old colt and filly categories.
The banquet will also honor such prestigious awards as the Frank Daniels, Joe O'Brien and Horseman and Horsewoman of the year. The Standardbred Canada owner of the year will also be presented.
