April 15 is last chance for New Jersey-sired two-year-old and three-year-old pacers and trotters to be kept eligible to all 2013 NJ Sire Stakes pari-mutuel racing programs.

The NJSS Premier Division is scheduled to begin in May for three-year-olds at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The two-year-old Premier Division will start in late June. The Green Acres Division for two and three-year-olds will take place from August through October at Freehold Raceway.

Horse owners are reminded that the April 15 second sustaining payments for the Premier Division this year are $500 for both two and three-year-olds. Also due are $150 Green Acres Division payments for two and three-year-olds. The second sustaining payments must be made in order to keep horses eligible for all 2013 NJSS races.

NJSS also notes that horse owners are encouraged to use certified mail and that no billing notices will be sent and no late payments will be accepted.

Cheques should be made payable in U. S. funds to NJSS, P.O. Box 330, Trenton, NJ 08625.
