For the fifth year in a row, the Standardbred Owners Association of New York (SOANY) will be offering 20 per cent bonuses on designated race cards, with the first one of 2026 scheduled for Thursday, April 2 at Yonkers Raceway.
The 20 per cent bonuses will be paid out to all horses wholly owned, trained and driven by the 761 SOANY members who signed up by Feb. 28, 2026. The bonus money will be paid separately and solely to the owners (whoever is listed first in the program) and will come directly from the SOANY’s funds.
The first person listed must submit a W-9 form to the SOANY office in order to receive the bonus. The form can be submitted by email to [email protected], by fax to 914-968-3943, hand delivered to Jimmy Marohn Sr. at the track or mailed to SOA of NY, 733 Yonkers Avenue, Suite 102, Yonkers, NY, 10704.
Last year, SOANY held two bonus cards and paid out nearly $60,000 USD to its members.
