Racing resumes at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Thursday, March 26 with a 14-race program that has a carryover in the Early Pick 5 in addition to the traditional guarantees in the Late Pick 4 and Late High 5.
Full fields will be the theme of the night on Thursday, with 136 horses in the box for the program, which gets underway with a first post of 5:30 p.m. The first race kicks off the Early Pick 5 (Races 1-5), which has a carryover of $1,293 with that pool being guaranteed at $10,000.
The card also includes a $15,000 guarantee in the Late Pick 4 (Races 11-14) and $10,000 guarantee in the Late High 5 (Race 14), with those guarantees offered in partnership with the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program. Both wagers also have an industry low takeout of 12 per cent.
Free online programs, in addition to access to race replays are available on the Hoosier Park website under the "Racing" tab. Qualifier replays are available on the Hoosier Park AV YouTube channel.
Once the calendar turns to April, Hoosier Park will begin racing on Wednesdays, making it a three-day Wednesday through Friday race week. Hoosier will add Saturdays to the weekly schedule in May. First post each day is 5:30 p.m.
