Officials with Kawartha Downs have released information pertaining to upcoming training, schooling and qualifying at the track, and have also stated that the track is scheduled to commence its 2019 season of live racing in early May.
The track has stated that its 21-date season of live racing is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, May 11. Track officials have not provided Trot Insider with Kawartha’s 2019 race-date calendar as of yet.
Kawartha officials have stated that the track will be open for training on Monday, April 1. Schooling sessions have been scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, May 4 after the 11:00 a.m. qualifying session.

Mondays - 6:00 a.m. to noon
Tuesdays - closed
Wednesdays - 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursdays - 6:00 a.m. to noon
Fridays - closed
Saturdays - 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (only for the month of April)
Sundays - closed
