Officials at Tioga Downs would like to advise horsepeople that the deadline for nominations to all of Tioga Downs’ late-closing events has been extended to Friday, April 15.
Both pacing series occur entirely before the New York Sire Stakes season begins, thus making for a convenient and lucrative trio of prep races through the month of May.
The trotting series coincide with the Empire Breeders Classic events at Vernon in June, enabling three-year-old trotters to remain fit during the lull in NYSS events.
