Phil Hudon, who has steered his mounts to $45 million in purse earnings in driving career, will be the guest on Woodbine Racing Live's pre-race show this Saturday, March 22, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
The 39-year-old has been a mainstay on the Woodbine Entertainment Group circuit for the past decade and has 3,785 career wins to his credit.
Hudon’s biggest thrill came in 2010 when he teamed up with Big Jim to capture the $600,000 Breeders Crown Two-Year-Old Colt Pace in 1:50.4.
One month later, Hudon and Big Jim went on to lower the world record for two-year-old pacing colts by taking the $709,000 Governor’s Cup at Woodbine Racetrack in an impressive 1:49.1.
The Guelph resident has eight starters on Saturday’s 11-race program.
Hudon will join WEG’s Greg Gangle and offer his thoughts on his starters and much more. First-race post time is slated for 7:25 p.m.
