Meadowlands Racetrack will hold its next qualifying tournament for the National Harness Handicapping Championship on Saturday, March 26
.
An estimated $12,000* in prize money will be up for grabs with payouts to the Top 10. Plus, players keep their bankrolls. The top three finishers are expected to qualify for the 2011 National Harness Handicapping Championship, the only tournament featuring a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool, on July 9 at the Meadowlands.
The total fee to enter the contest is $200 ($100 entry fee/$100 bankroll). Contestants must bet at least 10 Meadowlands races, with a $10 minimum per race (no maximum). Wagers must be win, place or combination WP, and on one horse per race.
Entries will be taken between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at Raceworld Teletheater on the Paddock Level. Click here for complete rules.
Guests are urged to allow extra travel time into the Sports Complex due to the evening soccer game at New Meadowlands Stadium.
