
Former harness driver Philippe Brochu of Princeville, Que. passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones, at Maison Marie-Pagé.
Mr. Philippe Brochu, husband of Mrs. Doris Fortier, passed away at the age of 90 years and eight months.
Besides his wife, Mr. Brochu is survived by his children, Ginette (Michel Nolet), Simon (Mariette Paradis), Mario, Sophie (André Guillemette), and Steven; his grandchildren, Marie-Michèle, Jason, Keven, Francis (Mitch Tierney), and Cynthia (Nicolas Bergeron); and his precious great-grandchildren, Loïka, Eléa, and Noah. He also leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as on Sunday, the day of the ceremony, beginning at 9 a.m., at the Grégoire & Desrochers Funeral Complex, located at 1300 Notre-Dame Street East in Victoriaville, Que. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 30 at 11 a.m. in the Marcoux & Dion Chapel of the funeral complex. The ceremony will also be available online at gregoiredesrochers.com.
