Post Time with Mike and Mike, presented by BetAmerica, is excited to announce the beginning of its 2017 live remote schedule.
In 2016, Mike and Mike had multiple successful live remotes at Yonkers Raceway, Hoosier Park, Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, and also followed Freaky Feet Pete at Hollywood Dayton Raceway shortly after the death of Larry Rheinheimer.
As of this writing, the live remote schedule is as follows:
Molson Pace at Western Fair – Friday, May 26, 2017
Dan Patch Stakes at Hoosier Park – Friday, August 11, 2017
Hoosier Pacing Derby at Hoosier Park – Friday, September 22, 2017
Breeders Crown at Hoosier Park – Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28
The Molson Pace will be the duo's first trip to Canada to cover a major stakes event. The Molson Pace's storied history has featured many great winners including State Treasurer who has won the event three times. In 2016, Evenin Of Pleasure won coming from a pocket trip at astronomical odds. "We are excited about the opportunity to expand our coverage of the Molson Pace program this season. We are proud of how the race has grown in stature into one of the most important early-season tests for the best older pacers," Greg Blanchard said about the Molson Pace.
“Greg Blanchard, Shannon ‘Sugar’ Doyle, and the entire Western Fair racing team has done a great job with their product. The Molson Pace is a premier event for older pacers, and we are excited to work with their team," said co-hosts Michael Bozich and Michael Carter.
Joining the broadcast team at Western Fair is Garnet Barnsdale, who also worked with Post Time to cover the 2016 Breeders Crown at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment. "The Molson Pace is one of the best races in the country and it is a great card of racing that night. I am looking forward to being there for another renewal of The Pace," said Barnsdale. Barnsdale will help provide handicapping analysis and also contribute to knowledge of the horses in the race.
The undercard for the Molson Pace will also feature some very good Ontario Sires Stakes races. Blanchard eluded that “Aside from the Molson Pace, we will host Ontario's best three-year-old colt pacers in the first OSS Gold event of the season, which makes for a powerful undercard. We want to promote the great racing and of course but also the many attractive wagering opportunities that night and we know that being on Post Time with Mike and Mike aligns well with that approach."
Mike and Mike is very excited to cover three events this season at Hoosier Park as well as being a part of the 2017 Breeders Crown. The duo also covered the Breeders Crown last season. In 2016, the duo covered the Dan Patch Stakes live which played host to one of harness racing’s biggest rivalries between Always B Miki and Wiggle It Jiggleit.

Joining the duo at Hoosier Park and Western Fair will also be Jessica Otten who joined the duo in 2016 at the Breeders Crown. Otten said about joining Mike and Mike "I had so much fun working with Mike and Mike at the Breeders Crown last year. They not only taught me new things that have helped me with my college classes, but they also gave me the opportunity to interact with the top trainers, drivers and horses which included a trip to meet Jimmy Takter and 2016 Horse of the Year Always B Miki. I am beyond excited to team up with Mike and Mike this year for some Grand Circuit action."
Otten will be responsible for some of the winners' circle reaction and she will get some paddock reaction at both events.
