The Pick 5 managed to escape Pompano patrons on Monday evening (February 29), despite the largest win price of the sequence being just $10.80.
The result is a $3,341 carryover into Tuesday night, with track officials placing an ‘instant guarantee’ of $25,000 on the total pool. The Pick 5 features a 50-cent minimum and begins in Race 1.
Also of note, the 12 per cent takeout Pick 4 will feature a $10,000 guaranteed pool on Tuesday evening, with the Jackpot Hi-Five carryover into the finale rising to $38,174.
Live racing continues at Pompano Park on a five-night per-week schedule, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening.
