It has been announced that the Monday, February 9 card of live harness racing and evening simulcasting at Yonkers Raceway has been cancelled.
Officials with Yonkers have stated that the cancellation has come due to the ice storm in the area.
Via release, Yonkers officials stated that Monday afternoon simulcasting is continuing until approximately 5:30 p.m.
Live racing at Yonkers is scheduled to resume Tuesday afternoon (February 10) with first post at 1 p.m.
Horsepeople are advised that Friday’s (February 13) card is to be drawn as scheduled, with the entry box closing Monday afternoon at 4 p.m.
