Western Fair Raceway would like to remind horsepeople of the approaching February 15, 2010 deadline for several of its major stakes events, including its signature race
, the Molson Pace worth a minimum of $225,000.
The stakes with February 15 payment deadlines at Western Fair are as follows:
2010 Molson Pace – Open Pace
• Nomination fee: $1,000
• Starting fee: $2,000
• All nomination and starting fees added to the final.
• Eliminations: Friday, May 21, 2010 - $20,000 per elimination.
• Final: Friday, May 28, 2010, $225,000 (added).
2010 Forest City Pace – Fillies & Mares Open Pace
• Nomination fee: $750
• Starting fee: $1,500
• All nomination and starting fees added to the final.
• Eliminations: Saturday, October 23, 2010 - $15,000 per eliminations.
• Final: Saturday, October 30, 2010 - $125,000 (added).
2010 Slots Cup
• For four-year-olds and younger Ontario-sired pacers non-winners of $75,000 lifetime as of January 15, 2010.
• Nomination fee: $400

• Leg 1: April 16 – Western Fair Raceway – $12,000/division
• Leg 2: May 2 – Clinton Raceway – $12,000/division
• Leg 3: May 29 – Hanover Raceway – $12,000/division
• Leg 4: July 3 – Flamboro Downs – $12,000/division
• Leg 5: July 23 – Grand River Raceway – $12,000/division
• Leg 6: August 14 – Georgian Downs – $12,000/division
• FINAL: September 11 – Hiawatha Horse Park – $75,000 added ($100,000 guaranteed)
