For the second straight season, Clinton Raceway will offer its Purse Sponsorship program.
This initiative was developed in 2021 as a way to increase purses for local horsepeople through sponsorship. All sponsorship funds acquired through race sponsorships, advertising, etc., were directly injected into the purses and were matched by Clinton Raceway. Sponsors along with Clinton Raceway added more than $30,000 to the purses throughout the 2021 season.
“Prior to the start of the 2021 season we wanted to be able offer elevated purses to our horsepeople and this initiative was the key to doing so,” said Ian Fleming, general manager of Clinton Raceway. “We would like to say thank you to our 2021 season sponsors and we look forward to the 2022 season.”

Clinton Raceway’s live racing season is slated to begin on May 22 with a 1:30 p.m. post time. The 2022 racing season is highlighted by Legends Day, as well as the $50,000 Kin Pace, Annual Driver’s Challenge and multiple Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots events.
