As part of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario’s commitment to transparency and enhanced communication, the AGCO has been piloting the posting of Race Reports after each card of racing at a number at a number of racetracks.
The reports, which are available online on the Standardbred Canada website (click here), include details on in-race calls made by AGCO Race Officials and other insights impacting each race card. Daily race reports have been advocated for by the betting public for additional wagering insights, and by participants for improving consistency.
The pilot was initially launched at The Raceway at Western Fair District in April 2017. It now includes Mohawk Racetrack, Woodbine Racetrack and Flamboro Downs.
