Tioga & Vernon Downs would like to remind the stakes-minded participants in racing that Empire Breeders Classic stakes payments are due on March 15.
The Empire Breeders Classic will follow the same format as the past few seasons, raced as a single event with no eliminations. The stakes will be split into divisions if more than 10 are declared to race with the purse equally divided and entry fee reduced by the number of divisions.
Payments are due by March 15 to sustain a three-year-old to race in 2025, nominate a two-year-old to race in 2026 or nominate a sire standing in New York to make the 2024 foals eligible to the 2027 race.
