The New Jersey Racing Commission (NJRC) is requiring all farms operating as a NJRC-licensed facility to submit a license application for 2025.
The NJRC regulations require all Standardbred horses that compete at a New Jersey racetrack, which are stabled in the State of New Jersey, to be stabled on a facility that is licensed by the NJRC.
Failure to comply with NJRC licensing requirements will result in a possible fine, suspension, and/or the ineligibility of all Standardbred horses that are stabled on that facility to compete at a New Jersey racetrack.
Owners must return a completed farm application and payment ASAP or no later than Feb. 28. There will be no grace period for failing to meet these licensing requirements.
Questions concerning the licensing process, please contact Meadowlands' Presiding Judge Jim Grow at 201-460-4147.
