Standardbred horseman Theodore J. ‘Ted’ Cegielski, 78, passed away at his residence on January 13.
He was the beloved husband of MaryAnn Domogala; dearest father of Jeanette (Bonnie) Smith, Michelle Schickler, Mindy (Robert) Lacki, Theodore Jr. (Lin) and Thomas; loving papa of Frank Smith, Jared Smith, Jason (Libby) Smith, Joshua (Stephanie) Schickler, Cody Zmuda, Nathan, Devin, Andrew and Alex; loving great-papa of Gayge, Dylan, Keegan and Jacob; brother of Jerry (Jean), Robert (Sandie), Kenneth (Chris), Deborah (Craig) Meacham and the late Thomas (Sylvia) and Margaret Pacanowski.
Cegielski was retired from Buffalo Color. He was an active member of the Western New York Harness Horsemen's Association and the USTA.
He was an avid sportsman, but mostly enjoyed his family time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Big Timers Club, 1278 E. Lovejoy St., Buffalo, N.Y., 14206, on Saturday (Februart 17) from 2-6 p.m.
