Buffalo and Yonkers Raceway have cancelled racing for Saturday, February 14 due to Winter weather including extreme cold, blowing winds, and snow.
Racing will resume at Buffalo on Wednesday, February 18, first post time 5:00 p.m. Simulcasting will remain open.
Yonkers Raceway has cancelled its live racing program (and evening simulcasting) for tonight (Saturday, Feb. 14), due to the wintry (and blustery) conditions anticipated for the greater New York area. It is the sixth weather-related cancellation this season.
Saturday afternoon simulcasting is continuing until approximately 6:00 p.m.
Please be advised that Sunday’s (Feb. 15) simulcasting has also been cancelled, scheduled to resume Monday afternoon (Feb. 16).
Live racing is scheduled to resume Monday (Feb. 16), with first post at 7:10 p.m., the first night of the Monday $10,000 guaranteed Pick 5 pool (50-cent base wager, but now changed to races 7 through 11). Program pages for are available at yonkersraceway.com.
Tonight's card of live Standardbred racing at Woodbine Racetrack will take place as scheduled. Post time for the 11-race card is 7:25 p.m.
