A mandatory payout will be offered for the Jackpot Hi-5 this Saturday, Feb. 14 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The Jackpot Hi-5 carryover currently sits at $171,968.21 for when live harness racing resumes on Friday, Feb. 13. The Hi-5 wager will be offered on Friday’s 10th race prior to the mandatory payout on Saturday.
An overflow field of 11 pacers are scheduled to compete in Saturday’s mandatory payout event (race 11, approximate post time of 10:17 p.m.).
The Jackpot Hi-5 requires horseplayers to select the top five finishers in order. A horseplayer can only win the entire jackpot if they hold the only winning ticket for that evening’s wager. If there are multiple winning tickets, half the pool is paid out, while the other half is added to the carryover. The Jackpot Hi-5 has a 20-cent minimum and a 15 per cent takeout.
Post time for live racing on Friday and Saturday is 6:15 p.m.
