Some lucky racing fans will get to enjoy the thrills of horse ownership without paying any of the bills in the Meadowlands Racetrack’s 'Rags To Riches' promotion

For four consecutive weeks, February 16 – March 10, guests will root for their horse to advance through the series for the chance to share in its earnings in the $100,000 (est.) final.
On Thursday, February 16, the first 1,500 guests for live racing will receive, at random, a ticket with the name of one of the series competitors. Each week, if their horse advances to the next bracket in the series, they must exchange that ticket for a new one. If their horse is one of the 10 competitors to advance to the Rags To Riches final on Saturday, March 10, guests must turn in their final ticket, along with their contact information, prior to the race.
Eligible contestants will receive a pass to the winner’s circle to watch the Rags To Riches final and will be invited to participate in the trophy presentation and photo. After the final, winners will be verified and will receive a cash prize equivalent to five per cent of their horse’s purse earnings in the final.
Contestants must attend all four dates of the Rags To Riches Series to eligible for the final prize. Complete rules and information are available here.
